Biografia	John Bonnell, CFA, is portfolio manager and managing director for Thornburg Investment Management. He joined Thornburg’s municipal team in 2021. He spent 25 years of his career at USAA where he was most recently a senior portfolio manager and, in 2010, took on responsibility for co-leading municipal bond strategies. Earlier in his career, John held credit research and municipal bond portfolio management roles at USAA. He also spent several years at Strong Capital Management and two years at OppenheimerFunds, Inc. as a senior portfolio manager. John holds a BBA in finance from the University of Texas–San Antonio and an MBA from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. John is a CFA charterholder.

Biografia	Eve Lando, JD, is a portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management. She joined Thornburg’s municipal bond team in 2019 as an associate portfolio manager and was named portfolio manager in 2020. Eve holds a BA in urban studies from Columbia University and a JD from Brooklyn Law School, with a concentration in business law studies. She has extensive experience in municipal bond research and analysis, with particular focus on deal structures and legal covenants. Eve has covered sectors such as state and local government finance, public power, essential services, health care and higher education, across the investment grade and high-yield spectrum. Prior to joining Thornburg, she worked for over 14 years at Lazard Asset Management, most recently as a senior vice president and municipal research analyst, and before that, she was a municipal research associate at AllianceBernstein.

Biografia	David Ashley is portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management. He joined Thornburg as associate portfolio manager in 2011 and was named portfolio manager in 2019. Dave earned a BS in finance and MBA from the University of Delaware in 2001. He is also a CFA charterholder. Prior to joining Thornburg Investment Management, Dave was a credit analyst for Wilmington Trust in Delaware.

Biografia	Nicholos Venditti is a senior portfolio manager for the Municipal Fixed Income team at Allspring Global Investments. He joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Before joining WFAM, he was with Thornburg Investment Management as a portfolio manager and head of the municipal bond group. Earlier positions there include serving as a portfolio manager on seven mutual funds and separately managed accounts with total assets of approximately $10 billion. Prior to Thornburg, Nicholos held a variety of roles focused on municipal credit analysis at Financial Security Assurance/Assured Guaranty, where he began his investment industry career in 2007. He earned a bachelor’s degree in theoretical economics from Trinity University; a master’s degree in applied economics from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, where he also served as an adjunct professor; and a master’s degree in finance from Syracuse University. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation.

Biografia	Chris is a fixed income portfolio manager at City Different with more than 30 years of industry experience. Previously, he was a portfolio manager and managed the municipal bond team at Thornburg Investment Management. Prior to that, Chris was a portfolio manager at Vanguard, where he was also responsible for the long-term municipal bond team. In his career, Chris has managed municipal bond portfolios all along the yield curve and across the credit spectrum (from investment grade to high yield). In his prior roles, he was instrumental in developing and executing inter market derivative strategies. Chris is a member of the University of New Mexico's Regent's Portfolio Investment Advisory Committee and a member of the New Mexico Museum Foundation investment committee. Chris served on the board of the MSRB (Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board). He has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Villanova University and an MBA from Drexel University.

Biografia	Josh Gonze is portfolio manager for Thornburg Investment Management. He joined Thornburg in 1999 and was promoted to portfolio manager in 2007. Josh holds a BA in economics from Oberlin College and an MBA in finance from the New York University School of Business. Prior to joining Thornburg Investment Management, he served as an associate director at Standard and Poor’s (S&P), where he helped establish credit ratings for corporate bonds. Josh worked in corporate banking at the Toronto-Dominion Bank in New York before joining S&P.

Biografia	Christopher Ihlefeld is manager of the Thornburg municipal bond portfolios. He joined Thornburg Investment Management as a dealer services representative in 1996. Christopher served as an information technology specialist and program analyst before joining the bond team as associate portfolio manager in 1998. He was promoted to portfolio manager in 2007. Christopher holds a BA in liberal arts from Rollins College and an MBA in finance from the College of Santa Fe.

Biografia	George Strickland Co-Portfolio Manager and Managing Director BA, Davidson College MBA, University of Maryland George Strickland is a managing director and co-portfolio manager of the Thornburg Municipal Bond Strategies and Thornburg Strategic Income Fund. He is responsible for overseeing the research, trading, and strategic positioning of municipal bond portfolios. Thornburg Municipal Bond Strategies have won a number of awards from independent rating services. They include two national funds, three single state funds, and numerous separate accounts. George joined Thornburg Investment Management as an associate portfolio manager in 1991, and was elected managing director in 1996. Prior to joining Thornburg, George began his financial career with the Calvert Group and has his BA in Economics from Davidson College and his MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland
Brian J. McMahon	Vice President	1984	2002
Biografia	Brian McMahon is chief investment strategist for Thornburg Investment Management. Brian is deeply respected for his market and investment insight and serves as a key voice for the investment team and Thornburg clients. He also co-manages Thornburg’s global equity portfolios and serves as vice chairman of Thornburg. Brian joined Thornburg in 1984 as chief investment officer; a role he held until 2019. Brian served as president of the firm from 1997 to 2015 and CEO from 2008 to 2015 and was promoted to vice chairman in 2016. He managed Thornburg’s laddered bond portfolios from their inceptions from 1984 until 2000 and remains actively involved in securities analysis for various Thornburg portfolios. Brian holds an MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA in econom¬ics and Russian studies from the University of Virginia. After receiving his MBA, Brian joined Norwest Bank in 1979, and held various corporate finance positions.
